Is it really good?

I have an FX 5700 I really want to OC... It must be the toughest thing to OC... Can't even OC 1 Mhz (Core/Mem). Even with hs on rams won't OC...

So I'm turned to VGA Silencer --- will it do it?

Beg to differ. ;)

You're talking the NV Silencers. The original poster said the VGA Silencer (which I have), which fits only the 9500/9700 cards, and the GF3.

No worries ;)

A buddy of mine has an Asus FX5700, overclocking actually reduced his overall performance. I think the BIOS is clock-locked or something.
