VGA Silencer Question

Just installed the Rev 3 on my 9800pro. Went on easy and it is making good contact with the core. My only concern is that it feels like the fan is spinning in the wrong direction.

I don't feel much air coming out of the back of cooler. I tried flipping the 2pin plug on the card, but then the fan didnt turn at all.

Is the little bit of air flow coming out of the back normal?
And can anyone tell me how the fan is suppose to be spinning? maybe a picture possibly?

It's spinning clockwise. If you switch it to high speed you should definitely feel air coming out of the exhaust. At low speed it's running pretty slowly (and quietly).

Also, the air coming out of the slot should definitly feel noticibly warmer.

The air is warmer coming out the back.

Also, is it clock wise if I was looking at it like.. the silencer is on top of the card, so the heatsink is to the left of the fan?

Looking at it from the side with the label, the fan spins counter clockwise, if you mounted the switch on a desktop case, the down position is the high setting for the fan.

Air does not gush out of the back, it subtle, but it works.

If you look at the sticker side (the plastic side where it says VGA Silencer Artic Cooling) it should spin counter clockwise NOT clockwise.

Yeah, when I got mine I thought the same thing. The fan blades are pushing air through the heatsinks.

Oh alright, I guess mine is working right.

Just seems like more air would be pushed if the fan was turning the other way. I cant complain though, the back of the card is a lot cooler so I know its working good at least.
