1) Will the vga silencer fit on a 9800XT and if it does, is it easy to install or is it a hassle?


2) My card currently clocks to only about 425/370 in Ati Tool before getting artifacts. Will the VGA silencer help it at all?

3) SInce the stock HS wraps around the back, would it be wise to put ramsinks on the back of the card in conjunction with the VGA silencer, or is it redundant?

The VGA Silencer versions now available theoretically do not support the 9800 XT. HOWEVER, a guy here posted a pic of a normal silencer on his 9800 XT and claimed that it could be installed without problems.

I'd wait for the VGA Silencer XT, though. It'll probably cool better anyway. It's overdue as it should have been out last month.
