vga lcd hook up to comp

Plz help i have a hisense lcd tv with vga/dvi hook ups in the back and a radeon 9700 pro video card. i hook the 2 of them together and the text is blurry.(unreadable) I tried ever refresh rate and resolution. also did the microsoft cleartype and still cant read any text. I spent half the day messing with this tv and have no more ideas. :confused: do you have any.
 
Thats just the way it looks on tv. You will have to get a tv that takes dvi in order to get a crisp look.
