VGA/Keyboard Capture

I have two server's (nothing too fancy, but only has VGA output) which get moved between various locations where we are working.

Currently we carry around a monitor/keyboard to access them if there is any issues with them. Does any one know of any cheap devices which would allow capture of these by USB so they could be controlled via my MacBook Pro (or windows 7 VM) to save me having to cart around the monitor and keyboard.

Guess the alternative is KVM over IP, but this is fairly costly!

Usually just ssh into it, but with it being moved around there is always that risk that the something comes lose inside or similar.

Sometimes it becomes necessary to use a monitor/keyboard to fix things 99% of the time its not needed though
