Hey, I am going to be removing the stock heatsink from my MSI 6600GT, and replacing it with a Zalman VF700-AlCu. I am going to apply a thin layer of Arctic Silver Ceramique on the GPU as I would on the core of a CPU, but should I apply Arctic Silver Ceramique on the Zalman VF700-AlCu as I would on a CPU heatsink?

I would assume that you'd treat your GPU the with the same care as your CPU, which means the whole rub in, wipe off, dab, and squish with the Ceramique that you'd normally do.

If not, I'm sure that someone will come along and tell us why not.

yes, put a bit of quality thermal compound on there, and apply it according to the compound manufacturer's instructions. (which is how cell outlined)
