Vga and DVI to differnt computers

Is it ok to have the DVI cable to one PC and the VGA to another and just switch it to analog to use the same monitor on 2pcs? I have a samsung 930b if it matters.
 
Yes, it certainly does work. I've done it on my Samsung 710T with two separate computer systems and it works just fine. Just a nice flicker of the "Source" button and voila! Instant multi-tasking!
