vga adapter

what kind of vga -> dvi adapter do i need to use my vga monitor with the ati card in sig?

I have one but i'm guessing it is missing pins because it gives a blue tinged screen on my vga monitor.

Maybe that adapter is faulty... Buy something like THIS

That's a symptom of a missing or damaged pin or wire. Something's probably defective or broken. Hopefully it's just the DVI->VGA adapter.

I searched your card and it has two DVI ports. One that is integrated, and one that is digital only.
Make sure to use the DVI-I one. (The adapter shouldn't be able to go in the DVI-D port anyway)
