Hi,

Anyone out there with this setup ? And maybe flashed with the PE bios ? After testing this weekend I found out my LOAD temps to be 90ish at full load, FEAR and Oblivion with high settings at 1680x1050, thats pretty worrying isnt it ?

I thought at first I was fine since rthdribl after 15 mins wouldnt go higher than 65C. Idle temps are 43-46C.

I should try remounting before thinking its a crappy vga cooler right Its either that or the card just cannot take the PE bios and the high voltages it takes.

90C is definately not good, especially with a VF900, but it is within operable range. A bigger concern would be what that exhaust air from the GPU is doing to your internal case temps and thus your entire system.

Yeah 90C for a $50 vga cooler doesnt make sense

Im going to go back to stock bios and test temps like that, then remount using as ceramique instead of as5.

Ive heard of bad results with this cooler but read most of them were bad mounting, what could I be missing ?
