very simple home network....not working?!?!?!

i have a cable modem connected to a linksys wired router, then connected to a belkin wireless g router. I have 2 desktop computers connected to the wired router, and a laptop connected to the wireless. internet works perfect on all of these computers, along with a playstation 2 w/ network adaptor, and a tivo w/ network adaptor work great. i am trying to get file sharing setup on at least one desktop and the laptop, but would be nice to get it on all 3. i am running windows xp pro on all three computers, and they all have file sharing setup on at least one folder and/or drive. i went to network places and went to setup home/office network. i selected a few different choices and tried them one by one. they were "this computer connects directly to the internet, or through a hub" and "this computer connects to the internet through another computer, or through a residential gateway" both of these selections give the end result of "workgroup not available, please contact network administrator" when i click "view workgroup computers"

i have done LOTS of searching on this site, and found many helpful posts, but nothing was able to fix this. i may be doing something wrong, but i definatly need help. any information would be appreciated.

Are you running NAT and DHCP on the wireless router that's daisy chaining? If so, turn it off. You should only have 1 DHCP server on your network.
Also, are both routers in the same network range? Like 192.168.1.x 255.255.255.0 so that all machines would be in the range of 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.254 and the DHCP router would be handing out leases for that range.
In addition, you've probably already checked this, but make sure that you have them all set to the same workgroup, and check to see if you can ping them by IP and DNS name.
