Very quick crossfire question

I have 2 7950's I plan on crossfiring on an 890gx motherboard (bottleneck, i know). Do I need a crossfire bridge? Can't seem to figure this out.

I have one, are they all the same? I just read that you don't need one for newer cards so I was curious

well 7900s arent newer cards really they are 5 year old tech but yes you def need a crossfire bridge.

240,340,350,250,250X,285,390,390X,290,290X,295X2,Nano,Fury and Fury X don't need one.
260,265,360,360X,370,370X,260X,270,270X,280,280X,380,380X do need one.
