very noobish formatting question

I just built a new computer. When I installed windows, I created a 5GiB partition to install it on, I figured that would be enough to install whatever apps I want, and then I would use the rest for data.

Well now I'm in windows and the only drive showing up is the partition I made. How do I access the other 315GiB and carve another partition out for data storage?
 
Right click > my computer > manage. Then click on the disk management section. You should see the rest of your disk in there. Right click on the free space and create the partition.
