Hi, im new the overclocking scene. I was curious, when you overclock the CPU is it highly recommend that you overclock the ram and video card too? or is it just fine to do the CPU only.
Also, i am getting my setup soon Thanks very much to this forum. Ive decided to go with the q6600 G0 and a Abit IP35-E because im not really in need of the other options so i can save myself the cash. Also ive gone with the mushkin ram pc2 6400 4-4-4-12 (i think thats it) the one on sale at clubit. And a BFG 8800 gts oc2 640mb (because of the lifetime warranty, and I've had great return from them). Oh yeah, im also running water cooling.
Haha, now with that said, can someone help me OC setup with this rig cpu and ram. Im aiming for 3.2ghz. Thanks very much in advance.

Extremely Recommended that you read this

Never overclock your PCI-E speed. Keep it locked @ 100. Ram does not need to be overclocked. Memory can be overclocked, but to start off I would set the memory to 5-5-5-15-2T @2.2v - one less variable you will have to worry about. I would also find the max fsb as a first step by setting multiplier to 8x and raising the fsb until your cpu reaches 2.4ghz. Then I would set the multi to 7x until I reached 2.4 or maxed out @ fsb. Multi goes down everytime you reach 2.4 (not really necessary, but again removing a variable). So when you reach 2.4ghz @ 6x you should be @ 400fsb. I really hate explaining this when there's a thread ^ so I'll just let my hands relax now.. :D
