Hoping to be able to buy my gf's son (8 year old) a rig to play minecraft as cheaply as possible.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc

The PSU is my only concern, but there isn't much you can do with a sub-£180 budget.

If you decide to buy a video card in the future, pair it with the Corsair CX430.
 
That is a concern, but I am thinking that I can always buy a new PSU and replace later.

As long as it wont set my gf's house on fire and then she wanting to move in with me it should be ok. ;)
 
I can't help you with that last part... I mean, if you do too good of a job.... :D
 
The system specs look good to me too and so is the PSU - mainly because you're not looking to get a discrete GPU.
