Excuse me for asking such a simple question, but I need to clarify this:
Do the power supplys with a so called 'overhead' fan draw air Into the unit
and Out the back?
The only thing I've ever had has a fan on the back and blows out the back
drawing air from inside the case.
Also, in my case configuration, the PSU would mount so that the 'overhead'
fan would be on the bottom, facing downwards.
I am considering an upgrade for my emachines T3418 (300W) and all of the basic oem
options are configured with a back mounted fan, like the one in my box now,
but there are some good low cost 350-400 watt options with overhead fans and I
don't want to have to exclude those as possible replacements.
Obviously, my tech level is pretty low!
Thanks,
Michael
