"Verto" 6800 GT?

Does anyone know anything about this "Verto" company...ive never heard of them and they seem to have the best prices around...is there a reason they are so cheap? Should i get a Verto card or spend the extra 50-60 bucks and get a better brand?

I'm getting this card next week. Did you use some type of bios flash or did you just manually change the clock settings?
 
I just got mine yesterday, and it was a breeze to install. I was pulling out an old GeForce4 MX card, and already had the latest drivers for it. So I didn't even have to install drivers or change anything... just pull the old card out, and put the new one in. :p But yea... I love my PNY so far, and would recommend it. I'm not going to bother OCing it though. For a $400 card, I'll leave it as it is. :p
 
I've been on "VERTO" for my last 5 cards. All have worked like champs!
My 5900 Ultra even took to me flashing it and doing a lap dance on it :D
All rock solid.
Besides I just couldn't wait for the fedex man!
 
PNY has always been decent with their cards they make averge memory imo but their cards has been solid.
 
sounds like they are a great company, solid cards, cheapest 6800GT that i can find, and product lifetime warranty...anyone have a reason to not get that card? and how is the memory "average"? will i notice that?
 
He meant system memory, not video memory. PNY makes RAM is well.

Samsung is the one who is making the GT/Ultra VRAM.

The only thing I've heard is that PNY's "Lifetime" warranty isn't really lifetime. I heard that they define Lifetime as the shelf life of the product. So expect it to be more around a year or two.

It really isn't a big deal, but some people might say it's deceiving. But it makes sense since graphics cards become obsolete anyways after about two years or so.
 
The gt has a 1 year warranty that can be upgraded to 3 years total if you register on line.

Thanks for pointing that out! I was looking in the manual and didn't see any warranty information. Then again I only looked for like 5 seconds... lol. But yea, thanks, I'm going to register online.
