I have a HD 7950 and Vertical Refresh is on. Whenever I use my 55" TV using HDMI the screen seems to tears sometimes during games. I never have this issue on my computer monitors only when I use my TV. I also tell the application to use Vertical Refresh too.

Any suggestions or settings?

Do you have your TV input set to PC? Some TVs change behavior when you label the inputs. If you have any "smooth motion" bullshit enabled on the TV turn that off too.

Also are you using an active display adapter of some type? I've seen those jack up TVs as well.

I haven't bothered to figure out why but with my 6950 hooked up to a TV and monitor I get tearing on whatever one isn't set to preferred, it's noticeable playing games and watching videos.

I can try looking for an input setting for PC. I have all that smooth motion bullshit I agree off. lol.

I have it just connected to HDMI cable.
