Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm thinking of building a case where the hardrives are mounted vertically but I'm not sure if that would be safe on the harddrives...anyone know if it's an issue or not?
Mounting harddrives vertically seems to work just as fine as mounting them horizontally. As for CD-Drives, some like it, others don't. My current one is mounted on a 45 degree slope. It works just fine; however, my car's cd player doesn't like the audio cds anymore.
Then again, I haven't taken the time to find out if it's the cd player, drive, or cds. I'm willing to bet it's the cd player, though, for other reasons.
