I'm selling my mifi device and I'm wondering if I should be including the SIM card or not?

Thanks!

I don't believe so. The person you are selling it to, assuming they are going to activate the MiFi, will need to sign up for an account with Verizon and thus get a SIM card.

Honestly I'm not even sure why verizons 4g stuff has sim cards since you still have to call verizon to activate any device so its not like gsm where you can just swap sims and your good to go.

I wouldn't include the sim card.

When I switched out my GN for another one, all I did was swap the SIM card and I was done. I didn't have to call to activate or anything. I'm not even in a 4G area.

When I got the first GN I had to call to activate the SIM card.

LTE is a GSM technology and GSM requires the use of a SIM card (pretty sure anyways - never seen a GSM phone without a SIM card).

OP, no, don't include the SIM card since it's tied to your account/number. SIM cards are only $5 from Verizon anyways.

You do not need to call and activate LTE devices.
