Verizon Android

[arality]

Hello everyone, I am on Verizon, and cannot change (I get free service). I will be getting a new phone in about two weeks, and I'm considering either the X or the Droid 2 (but leaning towards the X). I don't really keep up to much on phones, but I have been reading up and have noticed something called LTE. As I understand it this will be an increase on Verizons network, sorta like a half-step to 4G. Other than that I can't find much more information, so I have two questions then.

1: Is there any Android devices that support LTE?
2: Are there any new Android devices coming out that I should check out?

Thanks in advance guys!

1: No, the phone will have to have a radio in it that will take advantage of LTE. There are none out that support it as of right now (I'm not 100% on this, but am pretty sure).
2: If you like the Blackberry physical phone layout, check out the Moto Droid Pro that'll be out in the next couple months (I think December). That's the next big phone due out on Verizon that I know of.
