Verizon and iPhones?

Well I need to get a new family plan for my family (4-6 lines). I was with Tmobile in the past and ATT. What can I say TERRIBLE service.

Verizon is pretty expensive but they say they have the best Data/Web service (fastest) compared to all carriers.

Sprint = nice android phones, affordable + terrible coverage

ATT = Nice phones, standard carrier for iphone with simcard but not so good

Tmobile = terrible + cheapest!


* My only problem is that the Verizon phones are CDMA therefore cant insert a sim-card. Perhaps I can buy a iphone unlocked and use the Verizon network if they can design me a simcard. Otherwise The reason why i want t a iphone is because you are able to use it for 2-3 years and still sell it for $300 minimum after years using it but i wouldn't know about a iphone CDMA as most people who want iphones want it unlocked for other carriers so its limited...

yes your right sprint is affordable + terrible coverage
i have nextel blackberry with sero+ plan i had a sprint phone and i had a drop call ,
Tmobile would be the cheapest
 
CDMA phones can't be "unlocked" (you have to register the phone's IMEI on the network, and the network just won't accept it if it isn't from that carrier). If you could, however, you would still be limited to just the CDMA networks - Sprint and Verizon. An AT&T or international unlocked iPhone will never run on Verizon's network.

Sprint and Verizon can roam on each other's networks, though, but only for voice and 2g data. Sprint's voice coverage is really pretty solid. Verizon's 3g coverage is unmatched, but Sprint's is not bad. Not that it matters, Sprint doesn't have an iPhone.

If you are set on an iPhone and don't like AT&T or T-Mobile, you're only choice is Verizon. If cell data speeds are important and you aren't so dead set on an iPhone, seriously consider a Verizon LTE phone. LTE is insanely fast, and it doesn't appear to cost any more per month, surprisingly.

Although I'm not sure why you think you'll be able to sell it after 2-3 years for "$300 minimum". There are plenty of iPhone 3GS's for well under $300 (2 years old), and the iPhone 3G (3 years old) can be found without trouble under $200. Android devices don't hold their value quite as well, but it's not like their worthless after 2 years. IMHO this isn't all that meaningful, though, as you need to actually like the phone enough to keep it for 2 years in the first place.
 
Actually Sprint is getting the iphone 5. This thing is all complicated..

ATT #2
Sprint #3

Obviously I want it to be affordable
I need 4-5 lines.

Well Verizon + smartphones does not = affordable. I have a family share plan on Verizon. On this plan are 4 smartphones. All 4 phones have unlimited data plans. My monthly bill hovers at just below $300. But as you've stated, the network coverage & quality are the best.

Honestly I have never had a problem with TMO, coverage or service wise.
