A co-worker told me about the Version Fios internet.

Worth a look, on paper it looks better than Bright House from what I can see, I think Bright House was only 7/1 and this can go to 50/20.:eek:
 
Awww, now I don't feel so good. Hehe, I didn't know about it until he told me. I just never cared about Verison .. until now. What is the reliability like?

Well it has never gone down, ever. I have the 20/20 package so its fast. No problem getting 2.5MB's up and down in uTorrent.

Get my 20/20 internet, 4 phone line and FiOS HDTV all coming into my house via one fiber line that is 2mm in diameter... its pretty cool. All on one bill aswell. Triple Play FTW.

Honestly though, unless you need serious bandwidth for something like bittorrent, browsing is just as fast on a midrange DSL line.
 
Verizon Fios rep knocked on my door friday afternoon and told me FIOS is now available in my area.

I'm dropping Comcast ($180/month) to go to Verizon 20/5 ($106/month). W00t! I got all the channels (W/DVR) phone and internet. I gotta love promotional packages. I get to keep this price for two years.
 
Its awesome service, just not available in too many areas.

Wish I could get it where I am, but it will never happen as verizon is no where near here.
