verifying dmi pool data ?

Hi i just put together my first comp.... i have an amd 64 3500 socket 939, neo 2 plat mobo, 1 g ( 2 x 512) kingston hperx 3200 ddr, seagate 7200 rpm SATA hdd.. floppy drive and 2 dvd rom drives. I got all excited and tried to boot up the computer for the first time and when i try to boot up it halts at verifying dmi pool data. I tried bootin up from windows xp, the mobo driver floppy i dunno wt to do ! any help would be apreciated thanks a bunch.
