I just got my computer set up, and it seems to be stuck on this part?

How do I fix this? What is causing this?
I dont have anything installed on the hard drive yet.

I am looking to partition and then install XP
 
Either your hard drive is setup wrong, in the bios or with jumpers, the drive is bad, or windows needs reinstalled. (could also be a problem with the ide cable. Try a differant one, make sure its in there right etc. )
