It seems that Venture capital funding has hit a 2-year low. Or, as I like to think, common sense has hit a 2-year high. :D I totally agree with this guy that funding levels have been "irrationally high."

Earlier funding levels were "irrationally high," CB Insights CEO Anand Sanwal said in a statement. "That was not sustainable or healthy." VC-backed companies raised $24.1 billion in the third quarter of 2016, down from the roughly $27 billion-28 billion range the industry has seen since the last quarter of 2015. The third quarter also saw significantly fewer "mega-round deals," epically named financings of more than $100 million.

Not a 2-year low in China..

Perhaps VCs are all just waiting for the Snapchat IPO

Why bother with the hassle of convincing a VC, when you can just get money for free from derps on the internet via a 30 second half-baked sales pitch? Yay, crowdfunding!
