With the most recent release of ventrilo, V2.2, the program will no longer be available for free for a server supporting more that 8 clients. You have to be a registered corperation to purchase the server program for more than 8 clients. This leaves gaming clans who provide a ventrilo server for more than 8 users on their own machine without the ability to use the program.
Are there any other programs available that function as well as ventrilo available? I am familiar with teamspeak, roger wilco and battlecom but was never satisfied with those programs.
