I seem to be having an issue with Ventrilo. Inbound sound, when I am tasked into Lineage 2, comes in gaps. So a line like, 'I'll meet you at the weapons shop' would sound more like 'I'll....pons shop'. It's very annoying and I have tried fiddling with every setting I can possibly think of. I have thought maybe it's a lack of processing power, as I am currently running at 2.3GHz (p4) - so I tried upping the process priority and no go.

Now the funny thing about that, however, is that when I am tasked into Ventrilo while L2 is tabbed out, it's fine. Likewise, there were a few instances where it worked just fine. Could it possibly be my SB Live 5.1 is out of date and cannot handle the simultaneous streams? Or a driver problem?
