ok, so now this is pissing me off

I am running a 96Pro, P4P800, 2.6C, XP Pro fresh install

So I format tonight, and install RAID drivers first (chipset is on my RAID array). Reboot
Chipset. Reboot
Audigy 2. Reboot
4.3 Cats. Reboot
no dice. Safe mode. something about a failed drawing operation. Unistall. Reboot

its fine. GARRRRRR WTF? I had this before with 3.8(?) Cats. WTF is causing this?!?!?!

apparently 3.9 works, as that is what I am now running.
