I'm trying to decide between two subwoofers, the Velodyne VRP-1200 and the Yamaha SW315. I can get the Yamaha as low as $185 and the Velodyne as low as $250.

The Yamaha:

On paper the Yamaha looks better but their frequency range and power aren't well defined while on the Velodyne they specifiy peak and RMS power along with frequency range +/-3 db.
