Hey guys,

I've gotten a free copy of Vegas 6.0 off my pal, but I can't save as MPEG1 or 2 formats without registration. So, this is an issue. But, I do have Ulead Videostudio Pro 8.0, a full registered copy. I just happen to like Vegas more.

My question is, is there anyway I could use my version of Vegas to set up the videos the way I want them, save them to a Raw format like AVI or something, then open the Video in Studio and encode to MPEG2 without any quality loss. Vegas 6.0 other then the MPEG 1 and 2 issue is fully fuctional, I just don't like using the other formats available.

I'm cheap, I know... and if I can't solve my current issue, I'm just going to have to buy vegas, which I'd rather not do.

(I actually do plan on buying Vegas, just not right now. So, this is a quick fix for me just for now.)

admission to piracy
which is very much against the rules
the solution is simple, register the software.

Lock

as a note had you asked the question differently, you may have been able to get an answer
but admission on a public forum aint going to cut it ;)
