I posted a similar question on an xbox forums without an intelligent response so let me ask it again here.
Do I lose anything (such as resolution options) by using the vdigi transcoder to convert the 360's component output to a monitor's VGA input? The alternative is the MS VGA cables, but that is only a single use product whereas the vdigi transcoder can be used with a greater variety of hardware.
The monitor would be either the Viewsonic or Sceptre 22 inch 1680X1050 monitor.
