i have vcore problems. (i think  )

i boot it up and is says hardware error check hardware monitor. so i go in there and it says:

VCORE VOLTAGE 1.58V <---- (NORMAL)

+3.3V VOLTAGE 2.91V <---- (RED)

+5V VOLTAGE 4.56V <---- (RED)

+12V VOLTAGE 11.64V <---- (NORMAL)

the CPU VCORE is on auto at 1.525V (it's lowest)

i was wondering if it was the HSF i have on there? it's a zalman turned all the way up

the mobo is an ASUS P4PE-X
the CPU is a P4 3.0GHz 800FSB
the RAM is two 512MB sticks of Corsair DDR400 (PC3200)
the PSU is Antec True Control 550 W

could ya help a n00b out? :(

i have one dvd burner and 3HDD (one 40 gig and two 160 gigs).

by fuxxed, do you mean that there is a real problem with my PSU or that it's just too much for the system?

I run a setup with four Hdds on 350 watts, so your PSU is screwed, probably. 550 are more than enough to power any PC around.

I would get out a multimeter and physically check the voltages to verify that the monitor is reading the correct voltages. It would be a waste to replace a good power supply because of the hardware monitor.
