If I raise my Vcore voltage, what will this do? Is there a possiblity of damaging my components?
 
It just gives more power to your cpu so basically you can OC farther. From what I know the two main killers of CPUs are heat and highvoltage. I tend to keep my voltage under or around 1.85v , though I've seen some people run 2.2v though they were on prommies. I don't think there will be much risk in damaging other componets besides your CPU.
