I have an i5-2500k, I am at 4GHZ with 1.150 Vcore and it bumps to 1.200 sometimes, I ran prime 95 for 1 hour (no errors), does that mean its stable? OR should I bump the Vcore up a little more?
 
if the computer doesn't crash it usually means its stable, run prime95 for an extended period and also try intel burn test.

Normally if it doesn't fail within an hour its good, but if its your 24/7 pc or you do anything besides gaming I'd run it 12 hours or so to be sure.
 
When you are OCing, having an hour of prime95 is for a initial stability test however like lilfiend said, if you want it to be your 24/7 OC running it for 8-12 hours is recommended as this will put many stressors on it and less likely to receive a random crash a month down the road.

I run several tests when OCing, first do simple 30-60 min test to test initial stability, second is a idle test (leaving it on over night). Then I do a real life test (run the apps or games I want to play to see if they work) lastly is a prime95 8-12 hour test.

I do it in that order as I have had a prime95 stable machine for 12+ hours but I couldn't load my game it would BSOD every time I launched it! :rolleyes:
