Hey all,

Just recently installed the vCloud Director Appliance and managed to boot it up and configured but I have a couple issues:

1. No matter if I change the hostname via console or via GUI, the hostname always goes back to localhost.localdom... I did create a DNS entry for it.

2. I can't access the vCloud director gui at http://ipaddress... I get a Could not Connect in chrome and a page cannot be displayed in IE.... I can access the management gui just fine at https://ipaddress:5480

Anyone else run into this?

2 would be because web browsers only look at port 80 and port 443 by default

1 I have a similar issue in my esx3.5 hosts where the management network ip gets forgotten.
