Just got the results, I passed. Did way better than I thought I did. Anyway, woohooo!!!

Congrats! Passed mine a couple of weeks ago and finally finished the TrainSignal course for it last night. That was a monster.

I thought it was a fun exam.

Definitely a feeling of validation I've never felt before after passing a test. Definitely have to know what you're doing legitimately, no papering it. Watched someone get a high 400s score after cheating w/ testking on the VCP... he beat my score and he was a goober. It was infuriating.

Thanks to everyone for congrats. Much appreciated.

Finished by Hyper V training and wrote the test.. Its not the 2012 its the 2008R2. My god is it ever painful compared to VMWare. I have like 2 small deployments and I just needed the crap for my silver partnership.

I am going to deploy a 2012 cluster soon infact 3 of them. We will see how that turns out.

Prior to 2012, Hyper-V was crap. I made an attempt to learn 2008 R2 and gave up. :D

I seriously have to get moving on these advanced certs. I have to renew my CCNA in the next two months, probably go with the CCNA DataCenter. I wonder if it's worth it say in September to go take the VCP5-DCA or wait for Version 6.

Take the VCAP-DCA5 now, then wait for the VCAP-DCA6 and get VCP6 for free. There will be plenty of time in-between I'm sure.
