i have a geforce 5800 and it was working fine until one day i turned on my computer and it would show what the card is but wont boot up the startup screen.

it says geforce 5800 ect. but it wont go to the next green just turns and stays black..any help?..any ideas?.

i swapped in a geforce mx440 and it works but the 5800 doesnt seem to work.
