I dont have a way to test my psu other than the asus utility but Ive been having some problems and set it to log voltages. It has been suggested that my intermittent loss of video signal was either my psu or mobo.

My 12v line seesm to sit at 11.7 and then it will spike to 12.352 at idle with nothing at all going on. My 3.3 and 5v both seem to be pretty consistent. Is this okay?

Usually if a video card blanks out and then comes back it's not a power issue. Lack of power results in a lot more frustrating problems.

Either way: What kind of board, video card and power supply?

random reboots? I know ram can cause that but can a psu cause both?
