Various Gfx cards not working.

This has had me stumped of nearly 2 weeks now and is driving me mad.

I have 2 gfx cards that work fine but refuse to display any video in my main machine.
Machine boots up, will load windows but the cards refuse to display anything. I've tried reinstalling the drivers, both display ports on the cards, both cable types, different adapters and nothing. This isn't just a windows thing - it won't even display the POST screen or a DOS prompt

The m/b is fine as i can get my 8800gt to work fine but by asus 250 and my evga 275/250 combo card nothing.:mad:

Any idea's??

Before i get the obvious ???'s:
PSU is a 950 corsair TX, both cards work fine in my asus dual cpu rig, both cards will fold 24/7 without a hitch.
Rest of specs.

Phenom x6 1090T @3.5ghz, 2gb PC6400 ram, Asus M4N82 MB (NF 980a chipset), 2 x HDD, 2 x Optical

If its not even displaying BIOS stuff at post then there are only 2 things you can mess with, the motherboard BIOS, and video BIOS.

Is your motherboard on the current BIOS? Have you cleared CMOS?

Use GPU-Z to check the video BIOS of the 2 graphics cards and look here:

See if there are any newer versions for your card.

Thanks for that, went through the BIOS changed the following and voila my 250 is now working. I'll leave the 275/250 combo card until i get a larger case (its a bit tight).

Plug & Play OS - was yes changed to no
Full screen logo - was enabled, now disabled
Addon Rom display mode i- was on now off
 
With so many Nvidia cards on AMD chipset something is bound to go wrong :D

Your PCIE slot is proly dead. Try switching display to other.
