I have qmail set up running qmail-scanner to process viruses and spam.
For some reason, qmail-queue-scanner-version.txt keeps getting re-owned as root after I've owned it to qscand, the user qmail-scanner runs as. This keeps qmail-scanner from running (with "permission denied" errors in the log) and nobody gets any incoming mail. Anybody have any ideas why this would happen? I have another server running with the EXACT same setup and I can't imagine why it would do this.
