VapoChill or Mach II?

Sometime in the future I may decide to go phase change... wondering which system is better. I see a lot of people talking about mach II with baker block mods... what are the benefits, and how hard is the mod to do? Both systems seem to be about the same price ($850).

Thoughts, suggestions? I'd probably go VapoChill since I have a silver case and wouldn't want to pay the extra for the silver skin on the mach II... but if the performance was good enough, I'd consider it.

Also... can these things be mounted on top of your computer instead of underneath? Would running them upside down be a problem? Also, do you think the case would be too top heavy? I don't want the thing tipping over :)
