Vantec Tornado Wont Slow Down!

hey i just got my 92mm vantec tornado (119CFM).... it has two connectors, the 4 pin and the 3 pin.. i plugged the 4 pin into one of the psu molex connectors and the 3 pin into my fan controller... but, i have no control over the speed of the fan and if i dont plug in the 4 pin then the fan doesnt run.. any ideas?
 
yes it is, and for the 3 pin connecter i notice there are only 2 wires going to it... when on other fans i see 3

and when the molex is unplugged the fan doesnt turn on :mad:
 
Uhh the 3 pin on the tornado is JUST for rpm monitoring to the mobo. U can NOT power it through that connector. Ur fan controller has to connect straight to the 4 pin molex one way or another to power it! :p
