ok this is realyl wierd. today i get a ship[ment from the egg, a zalman heatsink for my cpu and a vantec spectrum fan for my gfx card. heatsink works fine and all, but for some strange reason when i plug the spetrum into my powersupply (any connector), the system sparks then turns off (when on button is pushed). worrying that my system died, i rebooted the powersupply and disconneted the spectrum, it starts up fine. i then thought maybe i'm overloading my powersupply, so i disconnect a few other fans, even a dvd drive, and when the spectrum is plugged in it still sparks and then turns off immediately. do any of you have any idea whats going on?

I guess the fan card could just be shorting and drawing a lot of current through it. That's a wierd problem, though...

turns out i was overpowing the psu, guess the spectrum take s alot of power. i removed two lighted fans and rearranged the power cables, everything working great now.
