Thinking about picking a couple of these up for My HDDs to bring the temps down from 45*C but I wanted to check with you guys first.

Anybody used these before? If not, would you recommend I try them out?

I have used Vantec products in the past and like them alot and would consider these because they seem to be the best bang for my buck.

I'm looking for a cheap solution so I don't kill my WD800JD too quickly. :D

Front case fan blowing air through the drives is just as effective, for $0 (or close to it).

Well my Raidmax Cobra is the old style, instead of one 120mm fan in front, there are 4 80mm fans. So, I cant get one, ro even 2 fans, to blow on the drives, it blows more ont the edge of the cage. I don't want to put all 4 back in because it was loud as a bitch when I had them there.

I'm willing to spend the cash for a more quite yet effective method. Unless anyone has any mounting suggestions for fans.

Ah fuck it, I didn't have time to wait. I ordered them.

If they suck, I'll send them back. Would only cost the restocking fee. Which with $7 shipping and 15% of $20, It would be worth the try.
