Vantec Enclosure for my WD HD Sata

Hey guys, i just went out and bought a Vantec Drive Enclosure.
For my hd..and now i am looking at the temps..and it seems hotter..running at 49 Deg C.120f
is that a norm for external hD's? I don't want it to fry lol. Anyways hope i can get an answer about temps i should be looking at
 
ok at 52 Deg C now =/
lol i am scared lol

Cuz i am used to having my hd in cooler temps
my seagate in my com case with 120mm blowing at it is like only 28 deg C!
 
I was looking around for esata enclosures. The past ones I've bought have had a fan of some type in them, but it seemed like a lot of the esata ones I was looking at are fanless. Look up the specs of your drive model to see what temp range it can handle, it seems like the newer drives can take more heat than ones from a few years ago.

i got em 6 holes drilled anyways..
still fanless
but at least the air can escape out of the enclosure..which i know is common sense to disperse air. =D
so ya.. hehe all good for now.
