Vantec case?

Yeah ive been waiting a while for it to come out.. I cant find a case thast out that I like better and that matches the rest of my setup. Im also curiuos to see what all it comes with considering this is a company that has tons of case mod products.
Well ive emailed 3 departments at vantec asking if they had a release date for the new case and so far ive gotten no reply. Would be nice if they would email me back even if only to say they dont know. Im so ready for a new case and I really like the layout of thiers.
im waitin to see what that will cost when it comes out too.
my bet is $120-160, depending on construction.
some vantec stuff is cheapy (heatsinks), but some isnt (vortex). the price to performance ratio is great tho so if they charge a lot of money for it it will likely be worth it. This is def one of the cases to watch for the late spring/summer modding season.
also, I'm glad these aluminum case manufacturers are ramping up the quality in their fabs and not doing so many stupid LL knockoffs. enthusiasts want quality and are often willing to pay for it, so companies like silverstone (whose new aluminum case is freakin glorious), coolermaster, and now vantec are creating innovative new cases to fill the needs of the community.
functional features will take the pepsi challenge against tacky thermaltake garbage anyday, and i think its great the market is once again steering towards quality products instead of just putting hideous plastic garbage and lights that fuck with your eyes when you game.

vortex not cheapy? i got one and i am not impressed with it at all... it doesn't remember the setting it was on after you restart your computer so it always turns off after rebooting... I also haven't noticed any temperature change even with it on High speed, and it's loud on High too... Also, for some reason, the Vantec stickers was upside down on the front of the one I received, I had to flip it around...
i don't think the vantec case will be even close to lian-li quality... they just haven't impressed me lately. But i hope i'm wrong, i'd like to see some more really high quality cases on the market.
Ive got thier slot cooler, thier aerocool heatsink and all stealth fans. I havent had any problems with them at all. I just really like the design of thier case from what ive seen. I also think it will be hard to stand up to lian li quality tho. Here again if it looks as good as it does in the pics ill fix or modify the crap I dont like.
