Vanilla 840 vs 830

The new Vanilla 840s are $10 cheaper then the 830 right now (179 vs 189).

Any reason to pick on over the other?

Until failures that have cropped up with the 840's are resolved we are sticking with 830's.
 
The 830 has been proven reliable and fast.

The 840 (non-Pro) is new, unproven, and uses TLC NAND which is known to be slower and wear faster than MLC.

Get the 830.
