Wondering if anyone is still playing it, if so how is it? I tried looking for a trial, to no luck.

Anyway, I have heard that the game has improved dramatically since release and is worth it at this point. Just wanted to try it.

They were going to start up a trial island at one point, both for free trial players and as a sort of R&D environment. Don't know what happened to that.

I tried it in December till January and was not impressed. The world felt pretty empty to me overall and so the game did not hook me. Since release the game has improved in many ways from what I read about. I certainly didn't experience crashes and such or graphic problems and lag. They added a lot of content since release and the game took up almost 20gb of hard-drive space.

What I did notice most was the lack of many people playing, especially at the lower levels and I think that was even during a time period when they were offering a free month to returning players.

I remember all of the videos, looked impressive. Huge seamless world....

Hopefully the trail island will be ready soon so people can try it for themselves. There is so much hatred for this game it is amazing. People line up and take shots at it non-stop. I think the game is great and I think alot of other people would too if they gave it a chance. That is why the trail is important to get out because everyone has different tastes. The community is very mature (always exceptions) and the class interaction is very good.

it sucks, worst game ever. If you want to play a bad joke on friends then have them play it - otherwise, somebody took a giant dump then figured out how to code it and put it on the internet.

A lot of people had hope for this game. When they were in beta, people said it wasn't ready, needed a few more months. They released anyway. Those that were banking on a wow alternative quickly left since it was too buggy. You only get one chance on a first impression and they blew it.
