validating windows OEM CD key without install

Hey all, I will be recieving a bulk order of windows Vista and XP OEM from a fairly legitimate source (Using paypal - and no it's not Ebay :) ), however, it may be a bit before I actually install the OS. Is there any way for me to validate the licenses without installing the OS? Thanks.
 
I've never seen a "key checker" on any Microsoft website, but a call to them might be of some use, perhaps they do have such a tool for OEMs to make such tasks easy.

If these are System Builder OEM keys, activation is still a concern and that's where the big issue comes in: checking if a key is valid to install the OS is easy using XP and a VM, you can test a bunch a minute that way if you can type fast enough... but if you're trying to discover if the keys are valid for activation or checking to see if they've already been activated/used previously, that's gonna be nearly impossible without contacting Microsoft directly.
