upgraded to my 2 year old sony vaio laptop from vista to Win7 32 ultimate and am trying to upgrade video driver for the nvidia 8400gt gpu(ver175 to ver195). The new driver does not install , cannot recognize my nvidia geforce 8400gt video card. is there a go around for this situation. sony support is of no help
 
install the 186.16 drivers.. they are the first windows 7 compatible nvidia drivers and should still support the 8400GT.. you will have to look in the archive section of their download page to find them..
